About this coffee

Jose Vitor Luz had been manager at the Fazenda Bom Sucesso for many years before he and his wife took over ownership in 1999. Vitor and his family work on the farm year round, striving continuously to improve the quality of their coffee. -_- -_- As well as growing coffee they have a small orchard where they produce a range of fruits to feed themselves and the workers who help out during harvest season. During the harvest the coffee is collected and sorted by the different levels of ripeness and here it is dried on a patio for 7-10 days.

The Bom Sucesso has all the attributes of a classic coffee from Brazil. Low in acidity with loads of hazelnut and milk chocolate and a cherry fruitiness, it makes a lovely espresso but also works really well in a french press, aeropress or stovetop brewer. -_- -_- Our suggested espresso recipe for this coffee is 18g coffee in, 36g espresso out (2:1 ratio) in 26-30 seconds.

The postage charge on online purchases can be a surprise when you get to the checkout so we think it best to be upfront and let you know the costs before you get that far. -_- -_- If you live in BS3 or BS4 delivery is free and if you live in BS1 / 2 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9 / 13 / 14 / 15 / 30 delivery is £1. -_- -_- For all other postcodes we use Royal Mail first class which is not the cheapest option but it is the most reliable. We absorb as much of the cost as we can, but to absorb it all just wouldn't be viable for a business of our size. -_- -_- Our Royal Mail postal charges are £2.25 for an order up to 500 grams and £2.90 for anything over 500 grams. -_- -_- If you spend over £25 shipping is free to anywhere in the UK.
Tax included.
