Flavour/description:  The Burundi is one of our most popular coffees and has been with us since the start.  It's a great all rounder but the most common word we hear to describe it is 'smooth'.  Taken to a medium roast, it's great with or without milk and has a nutty, chocolatey flavour.

Origin information:  This coffee comes from the Kayanza region in Northern Burundi.  Burundi is a small, landlocked country in the Great Lakes region of Central Africa.  Most coffee is grown in the mountains of the North, near to Rwanda.  Burundi has ideal growing conditions for coffee and is able to sustain large plantations of Arabica coffee, often of the Bourbon variety.
